Bass for Blue VSTI gives you a full bank of well organized Bass presets

So this part of Lotus Bleu library concentrates on Electric, Acoustic and FM basses, instead of focusing on electro-analog bass sounds like the ones shipped when you purchase Blue.

This doesn't mean that you won't find here some electro basses, but our ones here really sound different.

• Bass Playing  To get a natural bass playing, many things rely on velocity and enveloppes. So all the presets were carefully designed to get some really cool and natural velocity response.
• Controllers  As usual you may expect to find many ways to customize your patch by using Modulation Wheel, Foot controllers or Breath controllers. Exception is that here we want our bass sound to remain a bass sound, not a bell sound or whatsoever giving you hi frequencies or harmonics. Thus variations using your modulation tools are maybe more subtle than in our others banks.

You may ask yourself a question : Why buy a "natural sounding" library when you can find so many sampler based bass libraries available on the market ?

We have two answers for that, depending on your music or bank account.

• First, it gives you the opportunity to play with "natural" sounding patches without purchasing another VSTI or a sample based collection. This is the economical point of view.
• Our Bass patches will give you something a little different, with sometimes more expression possibilities than samples libs, and a different sound and feel.

Developper of library says "I never found some of the sounds that i made for Blue in any sampler stuff, I often don't have time or will to browse entire libs or to turn knobs for hours in order to tweak a sampled bass. With the Blue bass I just choose the preset, tweak it in real time, cos the wheel has been programmed carefully  to tweak a bass sound, and play. EZ."

So the correct answer is in the end : Why do some people prefer to use Rhodes Keys rather than Acoustic Pianos ? Or more precisely, why do some people prefer Wurlitzer keys than Rhodes ?
