LEADS bank will gives you a whole set of expressive solo instruments ready to play for great chorus lines
New : Since 14 June 2009, if you purchase at least ONE Blue bank, you will receive our Blue Protobank for free
First let's define what is a lead sound. And what it's not
A lead sound allows you to play a solo or a chorus. It must have enough energy to stay above the entire mix, and contains mainly a lot of midrange frequencies. It must be pleasant to play with keys or guitar controllers and have some expression possibilities. As a solo intrument it may have portamento or other mono-legato tricks wich will make the sound more expressive and singing.
Moreover, in this bank, a lead thing is NOT a guitar sound, a keyboard sound or whatever instrument you can find someone else in our thematic organised banks.
- Playability Our presets make great use of portamento or glide possibilities. They all have a good response to velocity, and velocity can change a lot of parameters of the sound.
- Controllers Use controllers like a guitarist uses his multicolor pedals or boxes and change your sound with subtle and delicate or huge modulations.
- Vintage Find here a lot of patches inspired by vintage machines like Moogs and ARPs
Sounddesigner of the lib says " If you need a solid preset that can survive in a charged mix, try one of these, turn the wheels. If it doesn't suit the song perfectly at once, then tweak some more knobs and customise the FX stage, and you'll get the perfect sound with a few efforts"
Judge by yourself and HEAR THE DEMOS. Our demos only use Blue patches and internal FX. This demo uses also a Bass preset (see Blue Bass Bank) and NI Battery 3 Drums, Some Strings (Blue Pad Bank) and a Keys Preset at the end ( "There must be an angel")
